SEMINAR: SEEING SCIENCE! THE ROLE OF PHOTOGRAPHY IN SCIENTIFIC AND MEDICAL ACTIVITIES
Participation in the seminar entitled "Seeing Science! The Role of Photography in Scientific and Medical Activities", organized by the Aboim Sande Lemos Foundation, LIBPhys-UNL, and the Department of Conservation and Restoration of the Faculty of Science and Technology at NOVA University Lisbon. This seminar is part of the research group EPPIC (Study and Preservation of Industrial and Scientific Heritage) and focuses on the study, conservation and preservation of various forms of photography held in heritage collections that document scientific and medical activities. The goal is to promote these objects, highlighting their importance for the historical, technical and scientific study of the practices they illustrate.
