* Integrated in the complex of the former Powder Factory of Barcarena, a factory of military equipment that, after several centuries of activity, would end in 1988. On June 17, 1998, the Black Gunpowder Museum was opened, housed in the building of the old Casa dos Engenhos, the oldest and most emblematic of the complex and the one where the first gigantic mills worked for the black powder coating.
