Conservation and restoration interventions are carried out, as actions undertaken to restore degraded cultural assets, whether movable or immovable, to their physical and chemical stability

The interventions carried out are based on methodologies, technologies and materials used in conservation and restoration programmes, assuring compatibility, stability and removal of the used materials. In this sense, they are only carried out after a prior state of preservation assessment of the objects (diagnosis), in order to select the most appropriate procedure in each case.
