1999 Conservation and Restoration

Conservation and restoration of the sculpture of Apollo belonging to the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum (Lisboa) to be displayed temporarily at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York).

* Bronze sculpture done by J. A. Houdon (1741-1828), Apollo in contrapposto holding a lyre, his attribute as God of Music and Poetry.
