2018 Replicas and Reproductions

Reproduction of tiles to place on the face and on the entrance hall from the Antiga Casa Romão*, one private building in the centre of Lisboa, which benefited from restoration work. These reproductions were produced by Susana Carvalhinhos.

* Built in 1778, in the centre of Lisbon at the beginning of the reign of D. Maria I, a locksmith workshop, known as "Romão" (Casa Romão - House Romão), dedicated to the manufacture of various articles in wrought iron, such as gratings, gates, nozzles and scale arms, becoming, in the beginning of the 20th century, the Scale Factory Romão, having remained in place for nine family generations over 230 years.
