Manuelino lintels, 16th c., Lisboa

2018 Conservation and Restoration

Conservation and restoration of two limestone pieces* (HSC 14154 e HSC 14155), removed from an archaeological excavation (2014), in accordance to one building rehabilitation licensing; they seem to correspond to two elements of one manuelino lintel window, which are enriched by cords and vegetal elements.
Work done by António Morgado, stone conservator-restorer technician.

* These pieces were part of the temporary exhibition Futuros de Lisboa (Futures of Lisboa), which took place between July and November (2018), at the Torreão Poente, Praça do Comércio, in Lisboa.
