* The Convent of Santo António dos Capuchos, built in the 16th century. XVII by D. Pedro Vieira da Silva, according to the tombstone (of him and his wife, D. Leonor de Noronha), existing in an oratory or interior chapel communicating with the cloister. The Convent was erected while Pedro Vieira da Silva (1598-1676) was Secretary of State (1643-1660). He would later become, after being widowed, Bishop of Leiria. Other grantees were also João Soares da Mota (a knight from the city, called Pay dos Pobres/Father of the Poors) and Manuel da Mota, Knight of the Order of Santiago. In 1657, it was handed over to arrábidos friars, but its construction continued until 1665.
