Religions of Lusitania

2002 Creation

Contemporary jewellery collection inspired by symbols and decorative elements engraved on funerary stelae and cinerary urns* [1st-3th cs. AD], from archaeological sites executed in the regions of Miranda do Douro, Sabugal, Guarda and Alcácer do Sal.

*Stelae and urns exhibited at: As Religiões da Lusitânia: loquuntur saxa (The Religions of Lusitania: talking stones) on exhibition at the Portuguese National Archaeological Museum [2004-2022].
