Oil lamp, Roman Period, Ruins of Tróia

2016 Replicas and Reproductions

Execution of one rosin reproduction of one oil lamp with an erotic scene (1st c. AD, Roman Era), from the Ruins of Tróia*, from the collection of the  National Museum of Archaeology (Inv. 983.411.9). Work done using 3D scanning and 3D colorjet printing technology.

* The Roman Ruins of Tróia are the biggest Roman place known of fish salting production, which was built in the first half of the 1st c. and developed in a village which probably was occupied until the 6th c.
