Dom Diogo de Sousa, Braga

2008 Creation

Contemporary jewellery collection, called Dom Diogo de Sousa*, inspired in motifs taken from pottery terra sigilata Hispanic High Imperial in exhibition at D. Diogo de Sousa Archaeological Museum and some engravings founded in the region of Chaves (Trás-os-Montes).

* Diogo de Sousa (c. 1461-1532) was Bishop of Porto from 1496 till 1505 and then, Archbishop of Braga, from that date until his death.
