Conservation and restoration of a silver alloy cup, produced in London (1810) by Samuel Hennell, with 80 coins in different alloys inserted, mostly from European and American origin (17th-19th cs.), some Portuguese and Brazilian, illustrating the use of metallic currency for ornamental and display purposes and demonstrating the symbolic and economic association between metallic currency and wealth, from the collection of the Money Museum (Lisboa).
