2009 Conservation and Restoration

Conservation and restoration of 11 coins (1385-1979) made of copper alloy, from the Azenha* (watermill) archaeological site in the centre of Santa Cruz, a small town in the region of Torres Vedras (Estremadura). The Watermill of Santa Cruz, now transformed into an Interpretative Centre, was built by the end of the 15th c. and is classified as a Building of Public Interest in the Civil Architecture category [1997], by the former Portuguese Institute of Architectural Heritage.
