2016 Conservation and Restoration

Conservation and restoration of archaeological artefacts collected at the site of Moinho do Castelinho (Amadora - Lisbon). This work was done in 2013, 2015 and 2016.

  • Cup and bottle in glass;
  • Oil lamp in African terra sigillata (6th c.);
  • Oil lamp in ceramic too fragmented (3rd-4th cs.);
  • Oil lamp fragment in ceramic (1st c.);
  • Hair pins (3) fractured in bone (3rd-4th cs.);
  • Hair pins (3) fractured in bone (3rd-4th cs.);
  • Clasp in copper alloy;
  • Nails (5), chisels (2), tools (2) in iron alloy;
  • Hoop and gouge in iron alloy;
  • Carding sandals (401) in iron alloy (5th c.).
