2013 Conservation and Restoration

Treatment of archaeological artefacts, from distinct prehistoric periods, with different types and finishes, from excavations on the site of The Moorish Castle* in Sintra. Works done in 2012 and 2013:

  • Game meshes (29), pans (17), ceramics.
  • Fragments (15), vitrified ceramic.
  • Artefacts (11), cossoiros (8), oil lamps (5), ceramics.
  • Game mesh, glass paste.
  • Pitchers (2) candis (2), ceramics.
  • Button/game mesh, cassolete, jug, cup, ceramics.

* Portuguese Monument (1910), inserted in the Natural Landscape of Sintra, World Heritage of Humanity (Unesco, 1995).
