2009 Conservation and Restoration

Conservation and restoration of two polychrome porcelain vases with gilded bronze elements and views of German palaces painted by Carl Daniel Freydanck* (1811-1887). The vases were produced by the Royal Manufacture of Berlin (KPM), from the Ceramics Collection of the Museum of the National Palace of Ajuda (Invs. 6165 and 6166).

* Carl Daniel Freydanck was a 19th-century Berlin painter who painted vedute exclusively for the Royal Porcelain Manufactory Berlin (KPM).
