2008 Conservation and Restoration

Conservation and restoration of two wooden confessionals from the collection of the Sacred Art Collection of the Saint Roque Museum (Lisbon).. Work carried out under the coordination of Maria João Petisca, conservator-restorator.

  • Pair of small confessionals (1742-1744), made by Giovanni Palmini, in walnut, with areas veneered with walnut root; they have a small central window, hidden by a door on one side and are decorated with four winged heads; at the tops there is a carved flower.
