2017 Conservation and Restoration

Objects made of copper, silver and iron alloys, wood and textiles, which integrates one panoply from the Collection of the Medeiros e Almeida Museum, including parts of armament and protection:

  • two travel guns (18 c.) and two pocket-guns (19 c.);
  • wick musket and flint musket (18/19 cs.);
  • sword, scabbard and Turkish dagger yatagan (19 c.);
  • cup sword (17 c.), sword zulfikar (18/19 cs.);
  • elephant-knife bluj, small-sword (18 c.);
  • dagger (18 c.) and left hand dagger (18/19 cs.);
  • Indian helmet kulah khud and rmour char aina (19c.).
  • espada shamshir (18 c.),
  • Mongolian axe (18/19 cs.);
  • 2 Fijian and 2 ceremonial maces (19/20 cs.);
  • two African "lion" spears (19t/20 cs.)
  • four crossbow short arrows (19 c.);
  • sword (16/17/19 cs.),
