Railings, 15th c., Santa Clara Church, Porto

2020 Conservation and Restoration

Conservation and restoration of eight Hispanic-Moorish railings in the side galleries of the nave and the main chapel of the Church of Santa Clara* (Porto), consisting of iron gilded alloy square elements with geometric decoration.

* A female convent church with religious, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture, classified as National Monument (1910). One of the main Porto churches lined with gold, with carving.
