Gold torcs, Iron Age, Montalegre [Trás-os-Montes]

2011 Replicas and Reproductions

Gilded silver replicas of three gold torcs - Au-566, Au-568 Au-569 - from the Archaic Jewellery Collection of the National Archaeological Museum (Lisboa). This work was carried out without touching the original artefacts through the use of 3D scanning technology and CAD/CAM software, before proceeding with the goldsmith handwork, after the lost wax casting being made.
