^{Abstract
A number of pieces in the Treasure Room of the National Museum of Archaeology (MNA) show signs of surface corrosion, characterized by stains of varying shades. Alongside the study of the room's display conditions, an exhaustive survey of the conservation status of the gold alloy objects was conducted. This assessment included visual observation of the pieces, both of the surface (e.g., corrosion products and their extent) and the structure (e.g., presence of cracks and fractures), as well as the manufacturing and decoration techniques. Simultaneously, a survey of the precise location of the objects in the Treasure Room was also carried out. This survey aimed to identify the parameters (endogenous and exogenous) that may contribute to the development of corrosion.}
