The treated objects were part of the exhibition at pera guerrejar: Armamento Medieval no Espaço Português s. IX-XV (Medieval Weapons in the Portuguese Territory 9-15cs) held, in the Portuguese National Archaeological Museum [1999-2000].
The Castle of Alcoutim (14th c.), classified as Public Interest (1973), was built in reign of King Dinis, The Farmer.
