2013 Conservation and Restoration

Conservation and restoration of various components of one Monumental Clock in the Tower of the National Palace of Pena*, Sintra (19thc), including: four pointers, one internal display with inscription** and two axes of pointers made of copper alloy and iron alloy.

* The National Palace of Pena has been classified as National Monument como Monumento Nacional (1910) and is part of the Cultural Landscape of Sintra, classified as World Heritage of Humanity (UNESCO,1995).

** "FEITO NO ARSENAL REAL DO EXERCITO POR ORDEM DA AUGUSTA IMPERATRIZ E RAINHA A SENHORA D. CARLOTA JOAQUINNA DE BOURBON PARA A TORRE DA SUA REAL CAPELLA DA QUINTA DO RAMALHÃO E DIRIGIDO PELLO RELOJOEIRO DA CAZA REAL."
