Bathtub, 19th c., National Palace of Sintra

2020 Conservation and Restoration

Conservation and restoration of a bathtub made of tinplate plates, lead/tin soldered with decorative lead/tin alloy appliqués, internal structure, probably in iron alloy and a copper alloy (?) drain. This piece, originally from the National Palace of Ajuda (Lisboa), is currently part of the collection of the National Palace of Sintra.
