Participant in the opening of the Alvalade Archaeology Museum*, in the Municipality of Santiago do Cacém (Alentejo) in the old Misericórdia Church, in the heart of the historic centre of Alvalade. The participation of Archeofactu was limited to the execution of replicas, namely:
- Bronze Age stone stele, from the collection of the National Museum of Archaeology (MNA), in deposit at the Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography of the District of Setúbal (MAEDS);
- Ceramic vase from the Neolithic Period, from the MNA collection;
- Oil lamp from the Roman Period, from the collection of the National Museum of Frei Manuel do Cenáculo (Évora);
- Fossil of a fragmented jaw with teeth of a hipparion gracile, from the collection of the Geological Museum;
- Vase, seal, two oil lamps and an amphora from private collections.
* This museum has the permanent exhibition “Memórias da Terra, das Águas e dos Povos” (“Memories of the Earth, Waters and Peoples”), which offers visitors a journey through the history of the territory through palaeontology, by observing some fossils, and from archaeology, through many archaeological finds.
