Science and Culture Program, C2 Cross Dialogues
This is a project to promote and value scientific and artistic knowledge in Portugal, aiming to stimulate interdisciplinary work between these two areas, with the objective of promoting more science in culture and more culture in science. The initiative consists of cross dialogues between Science and Culture focusing on themes such as the challenges of digital technology, conservation and restoration, heritage listing, museography, urban planning, resource development and information management and accessibility, crossing them with artistic expressions such as performing and visual arts, architecture, literature and heritage. The sessions will take place in different cities across the country, between March and June, creating spaces for meeting and working together among participants from the fields of Science and Culture, serving as testing grounds for the creation of innovative projects. Cultural and scientific agents and institutions, as well as higher education institutions, were invited to participate in this project, and associations, companies, and central and local government were involved.
